The Digital Humanities Laboratory was invited to take part in the “Diversity and Inclusion” research organized by the Diversity and Inclusion Coordination of the PUC-Rio Law Department. The initiative consists of a survey followed by a set of in-depth interviews aiming to generate a diagnosis of situations of discrimination and harassment in the department, as well as the institutional mechanisms in place to deal with it.
Through Prof. Luisa Lobato, PUC-Rio’s HD Lab coordinates the research activities needed to carry out the study, attenting meetings to organize the research, collect and analyze data and prepare reports with the results. PUC-Rio’s HD Lab arranged the acquisition and training of the NVIVO software, which will be used to analyze the data generated by the survey.
